Location: 100% remote EST time zone (prefers east coast)

Duration : 612 months contract to hire

Pay rate: $80/hr on C2C

Project Description:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of new features within our Density API.

Daytoday tasks will include designing and implementing software systems debugging and testing code and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality products.

Must have:

1. Startup experience
2. Logistics experience related to shipping carriers truck & carrier small package delivery freight delivery working with companies like FedEx UPS DHL Shiply XPO Logistics Flexport ShipAccel etc.

Top Requirements:

• Experience working with a small startup under 50 people
• Experience working in the logistics space related to shipping carriers truck & carrier small package delivery etc.
• 5 years total development experience Python focused
  • Appreciation of Python coding best practices and agile development methodology
• Proficiency with SQL
• Comfort testing your own code and that of your team
• Comfortable working in an environment where you wear multiple hats (product design QA)
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
• Understanding of transactional and analytical databases
• Ability to work in a fastpaced startup environment
• Ability to design and develop solutions that are resilient to failures and unlock observability
