Part-Time Day Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children supporting their development and learning through engaging activities.

********Multiple Day Shifts Available including MF 3 pm6 pm************

This position requires a love for children the ability to work collaboratively with educators and a commitment to fostering a positive atmosphere for both children and staff.

Duties
Assist in the daily care of children including infants toddlers and preschoolers.
Support lead teachers in implementing educational activities that promote social emotional and cognitive development.
Supervise children during playtime ensuring safety and encouraging positive interactions.
Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding childrens progress and daily activities.
Assist in managing special needs or educational requirements for children requiring additional support.

Experience
Prior experience working with children in a daycare preschool or similar setting is preferred.
Experience with toddler care infant care or special education is highly valued.
Background in caregiving or nannying will be considered an asset.
Familiarity with first aid practices is beneficial.
A passion for educating young minds and fostering their growth is essential.
