The Automation Engineer will collaborate with EngineeredtoOrder (ETO) and Modernization teams to provide customized software and hardware solutions for clients. This role includes commissioning troubleshooting software updates and ensuring that equipment meets customer expectations.

Skills
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC and HMI programming
- Knowledge of variable frequency drives and control systems for material handling devices
- Familiarity with NEC electrical code and OSHA safety requirements
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
Responsibilities
- Customize crane controls using existing software modules
- Support factory acceptance commissioning and lifecycle of material handling equipment
- Modify PLC software to meet customer needs
- Monitor and develop replacements for obsolete automation equipment
- Resolve control/software issues by collaborating with engineers and service technicians
- Travel to customer sites for troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Software Electrical or Automation Engineering
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing Industry
- Experience as an Automation Engineer
