Responsibilities:
Design and implement endtoend data solutions on the Azure platform including data ingestion transformation storage and analytics.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse and other relevant tools.
Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate measures and best practices.
Perform data profiling cleansing and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in Azure data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data processing and analysis capabilities.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members fostering a collaborative and knowledgesharing environment.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in data engineering with at least 5 years focus on Azure technologies.
Strong expertise in designing and implementing data solutions using Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure Synapse Analytics and other relevant Azure services.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or C#.
Solid understanding of data modeling data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze complex data requirements.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams.
