Job Description

  • Title: Senior Analyst IT Regulatory Compliance and Awareness
  • Hourly Pay: $37.28/HR
  • Location: Onsite TX 75261
SENIOR ANALYST IT REGULATORY COMPLIANCE AND AWARENESS
General Summary:
The Senior Analyst IT Regulatory Compliance and Awareness plays a critical role in fostering a secure organizational culture. Reporting to the Senior ITS Program Manager this position is pivotal in enhancing the security awareness and knowledge across the organization focusing on safeguarding both physical and informational assets.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Proposed New:
  • Collaborate with the ITS Technology Security team Communications and Marketing and other departments to align the security awareness program with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee IT systems change management prioritizing security awareness and risk mitigation.
  • Provide direct coaching to employees and departments to reduce the risk of security incidents.
  • Develop monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for security awareness ensuring program objectives are met.
  • Manage enterprisewide phishing simulations and conduct security awareness training programs.
  • Act as a crossfunctional liaison across technology security teams enhancing collaboration to meet security objectives.
  • Administer security systems analyze data for potential threats and identify compliance needs serving as a technical lead for security awareness tools.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management Office (PMO) to integrate security awareness into new technology deployments and updates.
  • Evaluate and audit security awareness tools recommending improvements to enhance effectiveness.
  • Act as the point of contact for security incidents contributing expertise to incident response teams and fostering a culture of security education.
  • Partner with leadership and training groups to develop and implement comprehensive cyber awareness training across the organization and prepare security awareness metrics for leadership review.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in business management computer science or related field
  • CompTIA Security Certification
  • Five (5) years in a direct IT security environment or IT project environment
  • Two (2) years of program/project management experience in a leadership role
  • Any equivalent of combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C drivers license.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing security awareness platforms ensuring the effectiveness of security education across the organization.
  • Expertise in the setup and oversight of security assessment and compliance tools to maintain stringent security standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills along with advanced capabilities in both written and oral communication enabling effective stakeholder engagement and team collaboration.
  • Skilled in the development of ITrelated policy and procedural documentation ensuring clarity compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence diverse groups towards achieving a unified objective fostering a culture of collaboration and security awareness.
Special Requirements:
  • Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et. Al. and DFW Airports Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
  • Must pass CJIS training within thirty (30) days from date of employment
  • Must pass Security Sensitive Information (SSI) training within thirty (30) days from date of employment.
  • Must take Cyber awareness training within thirty (30) days from date of employment.
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of Governance Risk and Compliance Enterprise platform(s).
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
Efforts:
  • Works in an office and virtual environment.
  • Conducts complex research.
  • Communicates by telephone in writing email and in person.
  • Presentations and training both in person and virtual.
  • Drives to locations on Airport property.
