Job Description

Data Entry Clerk

We are hiring three Data Entry Clerks for our client in the insurance industry. In this role you will support the AML compliance team by gathering and organizing data using Excel and Word. You will work closely with the data analysis team to ensure accuracy and precision. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension depending on workload. Full training and job aids will be provided.

What is in it for you:

Hourly salary of $18.00 to $20.75 based on experience.
3month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Flexible hours between 7:00 am and 5:30 pm.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Support the AML compliance operations group assisting with data gathering and organization across multiple business areas
Collaborate with the data analysis team to receive and manage case work
Pull and organize data using Excel and Word to support AML processes
Perform standard data entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail ensuring compliance with team production standards
Record data from one source to another while inspecting for completeness accuracy and potential issues in processing
Complete repetitive data tasks with precision adhering to minimum production and accuracy standards

What you will need to succeed:

Bachelors degree is a nice to have.
Recent graduates with strong tech skills are welcome to apply.
Experience in the banking or insurance industry is an asset.
Familiarity with AML industry practices is preferred.
Intermediate Excel skills including mail merging pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel particularly mail merging.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently with problemsolving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions and job aids with strong reading comprehension.
Team player capable of collaborating with and assisting colleagues as needed.
