PLC Controls Engineer
1 Hour away from Kansas City MO
Full Time Benefits Relocation assistance available
This is not a senior level role Idea candidate will have 15 years of engineering experience
BS in Engineering preferred but not required
Manufacturing background is a plus
General Requirements
- Proficient in root cause problemsolving visualization and quality tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and quality management software.
- Skilled in programming software including: ProWORX NXT Modsoft PanelBuilder Magelis V/V VisionWare MotionWare TestPoint Fix 32 Intellution RSView RSLogix 5 RSLogix 500 and Bitrode LCN.
- Strong skills in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley & Modicon) robot programming and troubleshooting (Adept & Fanuc) and electrical code compliance.
Essential Functions
- Design develop evaluate analyze select and order appropriate and costeffective equipment for manufacturing company products and systems
- Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting with Allen Bradley and Modicon systems
- Oversee the installation modification upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment processes and systems
- Stay current on equipment manufacturers technical notices upgrades and safety issues
- Implement PLC and Robot logic changes
- Provide technical support to maintenance and operations
- Skilled in robot programming and troubleshooting for Adept and Fanuc robots
- Knowledgeable in electrical code compliance
- Coordinate electrical control equipment builds installation and training
