Job Description
Job Title: Scientific Technical Writer Cancer Research
Part Time
Location: Rockville MD
We are seeking a PartTime Scientific Technical Writer with a strong background in cancer research. In this role you will write edit and prepare manuscripts journal articles conference materials and media content. You will also support research teams by developing abstracts presentations and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit scientific content for publication (journals articles reports etc.)
- Conduct literature reviews and prepare summaries
- Collaborate on clinical trial documentation
- Proofread scientific documents
- Mentor staff on technical writing
Education: Masters Degree (Ph.D. preferred)
Qualification:
- 2 years as a postdoctoral fellow in a cancerrelated field
- 3 years of experience in scientific writing on clinical and research cancer topics
Skills:
- Expertise in scientific writing and editing
- Strong knowledge of cancer biology
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
