Job Description

Our client located in the heart of downtown is looking for a fulltime
Junior Accountant to join their growing dynamic team. Reporting into
the Senior Accountant the Junior Accountant will oversee all duties for
Accounts Receivable functions. As the Junior Accountant you will be
assisting in monthend tasks cash flow preparations HST calculations
and account reconciliations. The Junior Accounts duties will include
but not be limited to the following:

  • Implementing process improvements and drive automation
  • Full Cycle Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed assets
  • Journal Entries
  • Investigation and reconciliation of key Asset and Liability accounts
  • Complete adhoc tasks The qualifications and education required for the Junior Accountant role is:
  • Degree or diploma in Finance Accounting or Business Administration
  • Prior experience working in an accounting role preferably Accounts Receivable
  • Industry experience is considered an asset
  • Experience working with ERP systems preferable SAP and Microsoft Office

The required skills for this Junior Accountant role is:

  • High attention to detail
  • Quick learner with ability to navigate Finance and internal reporting systems
  • Knowledge of Accounting principles practices and procedures
  • Flexible and adaptable to the changing requirements
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
