Job Description

Job Posting: Preconstruction Director (Phoenix)


Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Preconstruction Director to lead and manage a team of estimators and preconstruction engineers. This role is critical in fostering team growth developing relationships with both internal teams and external clients and overseeing the preconstruction process to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to function as a subject matter expert (SME) in the commercial HVAC/plumbing preconstruction space.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and mentor a team of estimators and preconstruction engineers fostering team development and growth.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external clients.
    • Oversee the entire preconstruction process ensuring projects are on track for success.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in commercial HVAC/plumbing guiding the team with industry knowledge and expertise


Requisitos

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the commercial HVAC/plumbing preconstruction space.
  • Proven leadership qualities and experience in managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the commercial HVAC/plumbing industry with the ability to function as a subject matter expert (SME) for the team.

Requisitos o 10+ years of mechanical construction experience required. o Prior experience as a Superintendent or similar function is required. o Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred. o Multi-family experience preferred. o Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, details and job orders. o Ability to effectively plan, organize, delegate and control the work process. o Strong interpersonal and people skills. o Good written and oral communications skills. o Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach. o Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
