Job Description
Job Title: Backend Developer Python with Azure.
Location: Amsterdam Netherlands.
Contract Duration: 12 months.
Work Mode: Onsite or Hybrid (flexible)
Sponsorship: Optional (dependent on candidates requirements).
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with a strong background in Python and Azure to join our team in Amsterdam Netherlands. As a Backend Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining complex backend systems using Python RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate thirdparty APIs and services ensure highquality code and optimize system performance.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience developing complex backends using Python
- Experience in developing applications using RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
- Experience with Azure functions MSSQL FastAPI framework Docker and (Azure) Service Bus
- Experience in integrating thirdparty APIs and services
- Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests
- Familiarity with Azure pipelines or similar CI/CD tools
- Understanding of software design patterns testing patterns and architecture principles
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques
Additional Qualifications:
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in web development technologies and Agile methodologies
- Experience working in corporate environments preferably in financial services in an Agile way (using Scrum)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with crossfunctional teams
- Adaptability to changing requirements and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proven ability to mentor and coach junior developers
- Orientation towards understanding and addressing customer needs
- Fluent in English (required)
- Based / working in The Netherlands (hybrid home/office)
