Job Description
- Develop and implement financial models to analyze and forecast financial performance.
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts working closely with department heads.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance.
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles regulations and reporting requirements.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the companys financial position.
- Manage the companys investment portfolio making informed decisions to optimize returns and manage risk.
- Conduct regular assessments of investment performance and recommend adjustments as needed.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure liquidity for daily operations.
- Implement strategies to optimize working capital and reduce financial risk.
- Oversee banking relationships and transactions.
- Collaborate with executive management to develop longterm financial strategies.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Assess and manage financial risks including market credit and operational risks.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and recommend insurance coverage as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
- Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Provide guidance on career development and performance management.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve financial objectives.
- Coordinate and manage external audits ensuring timely completion and compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and regulations.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting or a related field; MBA/CPA/ACCA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of financial principles regulations and reporting.
- Strong analytical strategic thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
