Job Description
Our client leading leader in life sciences and diagnostics is looking for a Biospecimen Associate II .
Pay Range : $24/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
- Collect inclusion and exclusion criteria for projects.
- Manage and facilitate conversations between external vendors project teams and pathologists.
- Create and manage purchase orders for external purchases.
- Search internal databases for inventory appropriate for project needs.
- Manage procurement and QA expectations.
Skills:
- Experience with oncology terminology.
- Knowledge of human anatomy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with biological sample procurement.
- Familiarity with FFPE (formalinfixed paraffinembedded) material.
Education:
- Associates Degree in a biological discipline or related field and 3 years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor s degree in a biological discipline or related field.
- Laborant/Technical Assistant (23 years) plus 2 years of additional education (Technician).
- Apprenticeship of 24 years and several years of relevant work experience.
