Midrange Storage and Backup Administrator

Cloudstreet is hiring for its client Data Centre Services (DCS). DCS is seeking a skilled Midrange Storage and Backup Administrator to join their Midrange Services team.

Overview

Data Centre Services operates within the Department of Corporate and Digital Development providing a centralized enterpriselevel server environment for the Northern Territory Governments critical business applications. The DCS Midrange Services group consists of specialists delivering comprehensive administration services for Microsoft and Linux servers VMware virtualization enterprise storage management backup management and application support in the NTG s midrange server hosting environment.

ICT Specialist Role

DCS requires a qualified IT professional to provide storage and backup administration support within the Midrange Services unit. The primary focus of this role will be the administration of the Pure Storage and VEEAM Backup environments

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment. Experience with Pure Storage and VEEAM Backup solutions is highly desirable.

Experience

• Current Pure Storage VEEAM or Brocade experience.
  
• Current certification in Windows or Linux Server technologies is advantageous.
  
• A working understanding of in allocating storage of a Storage Area Network.
  
• Knowledge of midrange application hosting environment would be advantageous.
