Job Description

Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Philadelphia Pennsylvania in search of a highly talented Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program.

Job Summary:

The Director will lead the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program overseeing its administration curriculum development and compliance with ACGME standards. This role requires a 40% commitment to the fellowship program and up to 0.6 FTE in direct clinical services.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and administer the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program
  • Develop and implement curriculum evaluation systems and policies
  • Ensure compliance with ACGME/Residency Review Committee standards
  • Evaluate and develop faculty performance
  • Provide clinical supervision and participate in didactic conferences
  • Deliver direct patient care in consultation liaison and outpatient settings
  • Chair the Education Policy Committee and Fellowship Admissions SubCommittee

Qualifications:

I. Education:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completed ACGME or AOA accredited residency in psychiatry
  • Completed accredited fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry

II. Experience:

  • Prior experience as program director or associate training director highly desirable
  • Eligible for appointment to faculty at least at Assistant Professor level
  • Strong clinical and teambuilding skills

III. License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Eligible for unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania
  • Board certification in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

  • Expertise in multiple psychotherapeutic approaches
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of ACGME requirements and medical education best practices
  • Research experience preferred
