Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan organize and oversee the daytoday manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency quality and adherence to production schedules.
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as supply chain quality control and maintenance to optimize production processes.
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff providing guidance training and support as needed.
  • Foster a culture of safety quality and continuous improvement within the production team.
  • Conduct performance evaluations set performance goals and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials inprocess materials and finished products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Work closely with the quality control team to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage production schedules material inventories and resource allocation to meet production targets while minimizing waste and costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and supplies for production.
  • Optimize equipment utilization and maintenance schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health safety and environmental regulations governing paint manufacturing operations.
  • Stay uptodate with regulatory requirements and industry standards implementing changes as needed to maintain compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint manufacturing required
  • Strong understanding paint formulations and the appropriate cleaning methods for a paint tank in a manufacturing environment required
  • Strong knowledge of paint manufacturing processes including mixing blending tinting and packaging.
  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and standards in the paint industry.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to collaborate crossfunctionally.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
