Job Description
Hill International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Makkah Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities:
Design and analyze structural systems for various building projects including highrise buildings commercial complexes and residential developments
Develop detailed structural plans specifications and calculations in accordance with local building codes and standards
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design and safety standards
Collaborate with architects contractors and other project team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of structural designs
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and drafters
Prepare project progress reports and communicate updates to project managers and clients
Participate in project meetings and provide input on design and construction issues
Stay uptodate with industry developments and advancements in structural engineering
Ensure quality control and quality assurance of all structural designs and calculations
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering preferably in building design and construction
Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
Strong knowledge of structural design software such as ETABS SAP2000 and SAFE
Experience with local building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
Willingness to relocate to Makkah Saudi Arabia for the duration of the contract
