Job Description
Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer AWS GenAI Platform
Location: New Jersey US (Onsite)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing scalable cloudbased solutions using AWS services. This role is crucial for the development of a GenAI application on AWS requiring handson experience in cloud infrastructure automation observability and operational cost monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python and Java along with knowledge of modern cloud technologies specifically in AWS. This role is onsite and based in New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable and reusable model execution components using AWS core services.
- Develop and implement a cost monitoring component to enable API usage tracking.
- Design and deploy notification and alerting systems leveraging modern cloud technologies.
- Automate operational tasks and workload distribution within public cloud infrastructure specifically AWS.
- Streamline production deployments using CloudFormation and Terraform integrated with existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Design develop and integrate observability components for a cloudbased GenAI application.
- Participate in teamwide application architecture reviews and present solutions and designs.
Qualifications & Core Skills:

Education:
- Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology or related fields.

Experience:
- 10 years of professional experience in software development and implementation.
- At least 2 years of handson experience working on cloudbased platforms (AWS) preferably in Financial Services.

Technical Skills:
- Demonstrable experience in enterprise data solutions.
- Proficiency in handson development using Python and Java (priority in that order).
- Strong understanding of AWS core services and architecture best practices.
- Experience in developing deploying and debugging cloudbased applications on AWS.
- Experience integrating vendor products using application APIs.

- AWS Certified Developer Associate or above.
