We are looking for a Waiter/Waitress to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a busy restaurant or hotel luxury environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate about delivering good customer service; then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables.
Presenting menus and providing detailed information on menu items.
Taking accurate food and drink orders and relaying them to the kitchen staff.
Serving food and beverages promptly and accurately.
Anticipating guests' needs and responding promptly to requests.
Handling guest inquiries, comments, and complaints with professionalism and tact.
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Customer Service:
Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner.
Provide menus and inform customers about daily specials.
2. Order Taking:
Accurately take food and drink orders from guests.
Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations.
3. Order Management:
Enter orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
4. Serving:
Serve food and drinks to tables, ensuring proper presentation.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues.
5. Table Maintenance:
Keep tables clean and tidy throughout the dining experience.
Clear plates, utensils, and empty glasses promptly.
6. Payment Processing:
Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
Handle cash and credit transactions in accordance with restaurant policies.
7. Collaboration:
Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service.
Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
8. Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including tables and service stations.
Assist with setup and breakdown of dining areas before and after service.
9. Knowledge Maintenance:
Stay informed about menu changes, specials, and restaurant policies.
Participate in training sessions to improve service skills.
