Industrial Painter/Blaster
Pay:$2021/hr. (depends on experience)
Hours:Day & Night Shift
Job Type:Temp to Hire
Location:Catoosa Oklahoma
Job Description:
Join our team as anIndustrial Painter/Blaster responsible for preparing painting and finishing metal surfaces with precision and care.
Responsibilities:
- Read work orders and follow instructions for painting tasks.
- Prepare and mix paints to match specified colors and clean surfaces before painting.
- Apply masking tape and drop cloths to protect nonpainted areas.
- Operate spray guns to apply various coatings such as enamel epoxy and lacquer.
- Load and move materials using forklifts and cranes and maintain production records.
- Perform abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces ensuring parts meet specifications.
- Assist in basic paint application and work cooperatively in a fastpaced environment.
- Use and interpret DFT measuring equipment for quality control.
MustHave Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Must pass Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be able to wear a respirator.
- Physically active able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
