Job Description
Industrial Painter/Blaster
- Pay:$2021/hr (based on experience)
- Hours:Day & Night Shifts
- Job Type:TemptoHire
- Location:Catoosa OK
Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled Industrial Painter/Blaster to join our team. This role involves preparing painting and finishing metal surfaces with precision and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review work orders and follow instructions for each painting project
- Mix paints to achieve specific colors and prepare surfaces for painting
- Protect areas that dont require painting with masking tape and drop cloths
- Use spray guns to apply coatings such as enamel epoxy and lacquer
- Operate forklifts and cranes to handle materials and keep accurate production records
- Perform abrasive blasting to prepare surfaces ensuring all specifications are met
- Support the painting process in a fastpaced setting and work cooperatively with the team
- Use DFT measuring equipment for quality assurance
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and wear a respirator
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active throughout the shift
- High attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team
