Job Purpose
Realization of the given sales plans within the defined sales region and development of the sales region to maximize the targets of the company and customer satisfaction with regard to quality. Responsible for understanding promoting and designing product/system solutions using the range of the companys technologies and 3rd party products if required. Involved in development marketing and promotion of customized product/system solutions along with relevant company personnel.
Major Accountabilities
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the companys product capabilities and use cases through comprehensive training programs.
- Assess customer applications and provide expert technical consultation to determine the best fit for the companys products.
- Generate new sales lead developing new customers and accounts for sales territories in the northern region.
- Maintain good relationships and build up new value with existing customers and accounts.
- Follow up with customer enquiries and quotations.
- Provide training and application support for Factory Automation Products to customer.
- Provide technical and commercial presentations as required for customer.
- Updating and maintaining the company CRM system with respect to accounts contact details visit reports appointments and opportunity management.
- Work closely with internal Customer Support on order fulfillment and processing.
- Work alongside marketing colleagues to help deliver seminars and exhibitions as required.
- Monitor competitors activities and assists management in developing countercompetitive strategies.
- Mentor and guide team members when required.
- Any other duties which may be assigned from time to time by management.
Requirements
Education:
- Diploma or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Mechanical Mechatronic Industrial Automation Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering or similar
Languages:
- Business fluent or nativelanguage English (written and spoken) one of the following languages business fluent or nativelanguage: Bahasa Malaysia or Chinese
Experience:
- Experience of using or selling industrial automation products. i.e. Sensors PLC SCADA etc.
- Knowledge of PLC Programming will be an added advantage.

- Able to work in a team as well as individually
- Problem solving attitude and lateral thinker
- Willing to travel Guideline max. 10% across/outside Malaysia
- Located in Penang area
- Own a car
