Job Description

Operation Manager
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Type: Fulltime

The Operation Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the entire backoffice operations for Insurance Mutual Fund and Demat Account related services. This includes handling client documentation portfolio management ensuring regulatory compliance process optimization and team management to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

Oversee daily operations for Insurance Mutual Fund and Equities services.
Ensure smooth processing of client documentation application processes and policy updates.
Manage and ensure timely execution of mutual fund transactions such as SIPs redemption and switches.
Lead mentor and supervise the backoffice team ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Establish and monitor performance metrics for the operations team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Continuously review and improve operational workflows to ensure efficiency and minimize errors.
Implement automation and digitization strategies to streamline backoffice processes.
Ensure that all backoffice processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements including IRDAI SEBI and AMFI guidelines.

Keep uptodate with changes in regulations affecting Insurance Mutual Funds and Brokerage operations.
Ensure proper documentation audit trails and risk management practices in place.
Liaise with key clients and resolve any operational issues related to their insurance mutual fund or stock brokerage portfolios.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients including portfolio statements policy details and investment summaries.
Coordinate with brokers fund houses and insurance companies to ensure smooth operational processes.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 23 years of experience in finance operations with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Good knowledge of financial products regulatory compliance and backoffice systems.
Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
Ability to handle large volumes of work and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Role and Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with existing clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences. Providing personalized advice and recommendations based on their needs and market conditions. Channel Partner Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and engage top channel partners which also includes Monitoring and assessing the performance of channel partners, providing support and resources to help them achieve their targets and drive mutual success. Investment Advisory: Offering expert guidance on equity investments, including stocks, mutual funds, and other financial products. Conducting thorough research and analysis to provide clients with informed investment recommendations aligned with their financial objectives. Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and expand the firm's client base. This includes identifying market opportunities, creating marketing campaigns, and participating in promotional activities. Portfolio Review and Management: Regularly reviewing client portfolios to assess performance, balance investments, and optimize asset allocation. Monitoring market trends and economic developments to make timely adjustments to client portfolios. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring all client interactions and investment recommendations comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Educating clients about investment risks and implementing risk management strategies to protect their investments. Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research and staying updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical events that may impact equity markets. Using data-driven insights to inform investment decisions and client recommendations. Team Collaboration: Collaborating with research analysts, portfolio managers, and other departments within the firm to leverage expertise. Participating in team meetings and sharing insights to enhance client service and satisfaction. Continuous Learning and Development: Keeping abreast of changes in financial markets, investment products, and regulatory requirements through ongoing training and professional development. Continuously enhancing knowledge and skills to provide superior client service and support business growth.
