Job Summary

Responsibilities & Duties

Under this assignment customer seeks to engage the services of a FrontEnd Developer who shall primarily assist DOSTPHIVOLCS in undertaking technical work towards the development of PlanSmart for PDPFP. Specifically the FrontEnd Developer shall perform the following activities:

Develop web modules web design interactive maps database modules application reports and statistics and any software components needed for the PlanSmart for PDPFP web platform

Develop schematics process diagrams/flows and mockups based on the PDPFP template

Perform software maintenance including coding testing debugging upgrading and modifications of software needed in the project

Prepare/write relevant technical reports research papers documentations and presentations

Coordinate with the SHIELD Support Unit (SSU) DOSTPHIVOLCS DHSUD and other project partners in support to the fulfillment of above outputs

Provide technical inputs in projectrelated internal and external meetings planning sessions workshops and other associated activities

Provide technical assistance to DOSTPHIVOLCS to ensure that the project deliverables are produced on the scheduled time

Deliverables

Submission and acceptance of Entityrelationship diagram

Submission and acceptance of database schema

Submission and acceptance of migration scripts and database

seeders based on ER diagram and schema

Submission and acceptance of scripts and functions for processing available datasets

Essential Skills

Education:

Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or any course related to software development.

Experience

At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in the development of web applications

At least one (1) year of relevant experience in using PHP and JS. Familiarity with Python programming is an advantage

At least one (1) year of relevant experience in using relational database management systems (MySQL PostgreSQL)

At least one (1) year of relevant experience in the development and usage of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

Familiarity with the development tools is an advantage

Language

Proficiency in Filipino and English

Strong analytical skills especially in understanding complex information

Ability to meet strict deadlines and plan the work according to priorities

Demonstrates capacity to plan organize and execute effectively

Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment and to deal with a complex multistakeholder environment

Good ability to use information and communication technologies as tools and resources

Good written communication and presentation/public speaking skills.

Discourages any form of clandestine collaboration or dishonest schemes especially with regard to the delivery of outputs

Have you been arrested indicted or summoned into court as a defendant in a criminal proceeding or convicted fined or imprisoned for the violation of any law (excluding minor traffic violations) If yes give full particulars of each case in an attached statement.

Statement of Health

The selected contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance coverage as stated in the Statement of Health herewith attached prior to contract signature.
