As a Project Management SupportGIS you will:
- Support the Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) of GeoMetOc Lab items.
- Provide Configuration Management support across the GeoMetOc portfolio lifecycle including managing documentation performing quality reviews and monitoring product status.
- Conduct trend analysis performance forecasting and provide reports on resource utilization (Labor Consultancy Investment and Travel expenditures).
- Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure quality through the development and maintenance of Project Plans using EBA/ServiceNow.
- Standardize Work Breakdown structures across the portfolio to ensure accurate project costing.
- Execute project resource assignments and manage associated Time Accounting approvals.
- Monitor project execution flag exception trends and assist with rescheduling work as necessary.
- Coordinate GeoMetOcrelated meetings and assist project staff with various tasks as directed by the GeoMetOc Services Branch Chief.
- Perform tasks related to portfolio controls project status monitoring analysis trend forecasting and procurement requisitions in ERP toolsets (EBA).
- Report on budget execution and maintain version control of internal documents.
- Support the quality assurance process and assist in adhoc geospatial production tasks.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of postrelated experience or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years of postrelated experience.
- Competence in applying Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and Project Management techniques.
- Experience maintaining SharePoint workspaces and portals.
- Experience with ERP Financial Systems (e.g. Oracle SAP).
- Familiarity with principles of accounting and finance.
