Engineer - Planning And Budgeting

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engineer in planning and budgeting to join our customer in Kuwait City Kuwait. As an Engineer in planning and budgeting you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of our companys strategic plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Applies expertise in Oracle Hyperion Planning & Budgeting.

Translates business requirements into system configurations and setups.

Delivers information and responds to inquiries from managers showcasing the ability to communicate discuss and negotiate effectively with technical and professional staff senior IT management company leadership and diverse user communities.

Conducts systems analysis to identify diagnose and resolve complex issues arising from system interactions.

Offers support and troubleshoots issues for business systems in collaboration with service providers.

Reviews and documents user guides for business systems standard operating procedures and meeting minutes with endusers and service providers.

Proficient in optimizing system performance and testing programs in a controlled environment before deployment in the live (Production) environment

Cultivates and sustains relationships with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with IT Security policies and protocols.

Collaborates interacts and coordinates with employees at all levels from developers to board members across the companys global operations.

Demonstrates effective communication negotiation and problemsolving skills when engaging with technical and professional staff senior IT management company leadership and various user communities.

Collaborates in virtual team environments spanning global time zones.

Identifies and reports security events or potential risks in accordance with the organizations information security policies.

Proficient in the implementation of information security practices.

Qualifications:

Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of general relevant experience

Knowledge in basic SQL will be an advantage

Maintenance of business rules Calculation scripts Groovy Scripts Application support Financial CAPEX and workforce planning

Knowledge on operation of Smart view in Excel ability to use Adhoc grids to troubleshoot data related issues

Operations support for Oracle Hyperion Planning and Budgeting applications

Knowledge in Metadata maintenance

Knowledge in Essbase database & backup recovery

Smart view installation on End User desktops

Periodical data upload to Essbase

Good knowledge in Smart view installation on End User desktops

Good knowledge in Troubleshoot and support EPM applications on End user desktops related to browser and Excel Addin

Bachelors Degree in computer science/ bachelors in engineering with Certification in Software development is preferred (Smart View Financial Reporting Cloud migration Hyperion FDMEE Essbase)
