Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Warehouse and Operations Manager to support our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and operations with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Warehouse and Operations Manager in managing the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving storing and distributing products and materials
Oversee the maintenance and organization of the warehouse ensuring a safe and efficient working environment
Train mentor and supervise warehouse staff to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely ordering of supplies and materials
Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement
Collaborate with other departments such as sales and logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
Monitor and track warehouse KPIs and provide regular reports to management
Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols in the warehouse
Assist in the hiring and training of new warehouse staff as needed
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse and Operations Manager
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management and operations
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Excellent organizational and timemanagement abilities
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of warehouse safety and security protocols
Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English both written and verbal
