The Role of Lead Emerging Talent Scout
The main responsibility of the Lead Emerging Talent Scout is to lead in the identification & recruitment of elite youth football players who have the potential to play for Brentford Football Clubs First Team. The role focuses on identifying top U16U21 talent worldwide tracking players from youth levels as they break into first team football with the objective to identify high potential undervalued elite youth players faster and more effectively than our competitors.

Existing highlevel knowledge / experience of England youth international football elite youth players from U16 to U21 level
Existing highlevel knowledge / experience of elite youth international football players from U16 to U21 level
Existing highlevel knowledge / experience of elite youth players worldwide yet to make first team breakthrough
A strong and established network of contacts working within football at an elite level
Ability to attend live games and pick out the best most suitable players for a football clubs positional criteria
Ability to work with data / resource to provide assessment on players in alignment with a football clubs positional criteria
Ability to articulate player assessments effectively through verbal and written communication
Ability to work effectively within clearly defined processes
Experience of using relevant football scouting video platforms
IT literate competent in the use of Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPoint
Organized structured and process driven
