Job Description

Our client has an opportunity in its Washington DC office for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their transactional group. Candidates should have a strong background in commercial real estate with experience in acquisitions and dispositions with title and survey expertise. Candidates must have immediate transferable skills a legal professional background as well as good time keeping and communication skills. This position is in office with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate title/survey diligence document execution and closing logistics.

Review and analysis of title survey and survey zoning documents assist in resolution of the issues that arise

Drafting of various transactional documents

Preparation of closing documents

Coordinate closing and postclosing logistics

Special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

5 years experience in commercial real estate preferably at a law firm

Organizational skills to work independently and meet deadlines in fastpaced complex transactional environment.

Communication skills to interact with all levels of internal staff attorneys and management and external clients of the firm.

Analytical and critical thinking skills

Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently and accurately

Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Bachelors Degree Paralegal Certification a plus
