Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and optimize engineering processes and solutions including feasibility studies and conceptual designs for project tenders
- Conduct equipment sizing selection and process calculations ensuring alignment with project requirements from inception to startup
- Implement new technologies to enhance safety reliability and costefficiency
- Oversee project execution by ensuring compliance with industry standards specifications and procedures
- Assist in HAZOP studies and contribute to safety reviews for both new and modified projects
- Prepare technical documentation such as RFQs tender documents process flow diagrams and equipment specifications
- Review vendor documents drawings and calculations for technical accuracy
- Provide technical support to site operations including precommissioning PSSR and startup activities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop business models budget estimates and operational strategies
- Train site operators on new processes and operational procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 8–10 years of experience in a similar role preferably within chemical plants or the oil and gas industry
- Strong project management skills with experience overseeing engineering and operational processes
- Indepth knowledge of engineering technical areas and processes for effective project execution and decisionmaking
