This is a remote position.
The successful applicant would Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop relational databases across the organisation while ensuring high levels of data availability performance and integrity.
- Develop implement and maintain change control and testing processes for modifications to data and databases.
- Develop data pipelines to migrate data from legacy SQL data sources for ingestion into a new operational system.
- Data discovery data cleansing testing and reconciliation.
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for onpremise and enterprisewide big data in a cloud environment.
- Design and implement data engineering solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Azure Data Services and other Microsoft technologies.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with datarelated technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
- Develop and deliver technical and process improvements to meet business needs.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry and company standards.
Requirements
- Microsoft SQL Server and other Microsoft technologies.
- TSQL. Jedi level
- Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Factory Azure One Lake Azure SQL Data Warehouse Azure Databricks or Fabric & data pipeline and workflow management tools
- Ability to communicate engage and build relationships with users at all levels across all areas.
- Managing and nurture effective working relationships with development partners.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
- Ability to create detailed documentation with an emphasis on development specifications
- Ability to manage multiple work streams.
- You will be organized with a flexible attitude to tasks.
- Degree Qualified andor a demonstration of equivalent experience i.e. 3 years in a similar role

7+ years of professional experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS. Expertise in AWS services and solutions, including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CD. Networking and security architecture experience within AWS. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and automation frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
