Job Description

This is a remote position.

Were looking for a Business / Technical Systems Analyst for our client Tango Specialty Insurance Services LLC

The Business / Technical Systems Analyst Level 1 combines business and technical skillsets to bridge business stakeholders and technology resources. This role covers a variety of tasks critical to the overall success of any systemrelated initiative including: new implementations enhancements product configurations quality control testing and business reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collect and document business requirements perform gap analysis and build system/process diagrams of current states and future states of supported systems.
  • Communicate findings recommendations and solutions in clear and concise ways using different formats and tools such as documents diagrams presentations and reports.
  • Manage / perform configuration perform testing of functionalities issues / fixes and enhancements in the system when it undergoes updates/patching.
  • Identify and document work around solutions. Logs service request/ticket with the software provider or for the technical team to improve efficiency and/or for addressing issue/bug identified.
  • Stay relevant and effective in an evolving business landscape. Keep abreast of the latest developments in technology and consider how they may be used to solve challenges in our department. Also consults with other senior staff members regarding the implementation and use of the various technologies available within the department.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong analytical skills to comprehend and collect business requirements from clients and stakeholders and to reconcile data between the source and target system.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills as well as listening and questioning skills and ability to adapt to different audiences and situations.
  • Requires advanced use of MS Excel (including pivots vlookup reference advanced formula and data merge for data analysis and reconciliations) & MS Word (including bookmarks and templates)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Sequel Server (SQL). Ability to query database and develop basic stored procedures.
  • Good problemsolving skills and resourceful.
  • Excellent interpersonal/team skills and negotiation skills.
  • Well organized and detail oriented.
  • Customer service mindset professional courtesy respect and consistent positive communications to management team members vendors and clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Visual Basic for Application (VBA) for Office is preferred
