JOB DETAILS:
Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
Work Model: Hybrid (Lisbon)
DAYTODAY DUTIES:
As a Data Governance Lead at Top Sigma you will be responsible for:
- Implementing the foundations of data governance and data quality initiatives across the organization aligning with the key priorities already identified.
- Developing and maintaining policies standards and procedures to ensure effective data governance and high data quality.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders including data owners stewards and business units to implement data governance best practices.
- Establishing data quality metrics and KPIs to monitor and improve the accuracy consistency and completeness of the data across the organization.
- Leading the creation and management of data governance frameworks ensuring compliance with internal and external data regulations.
- Supporting the data cataloging data lineage and metadata management initiatives to enhance transparency and traceability.
- Driving continuous improvement in data management practices ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 years of experience in data governance data quality and data management.
- Expertise in designing and implementing data governance frameworks policies and standards.
- Strong knowledge of data quality tools and technologies (e.g. Informatica Collibra Talend etc.).
- Deep understanding of data management principles including data lineage metadata management and master data management (MDM).
- Experience with regulatory compliance in data (e.g. GDPR data privacy etc.).
- Proficient in using data quality metrics data profiling and data stewardship practices.
- Excellent communication skills comfortable working with Clevel stakeholders and business teams.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with complex data sets.
- Familiarity with data catalog tools and technologies for enterprise data management is a plus.
