Key Responsibilities

As a Waitress at Zero Carb, you will be the face of our restaurant, playing a crucial role in ensuring that every guest has a memorable dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Exceptional Customer Service: You will greet and seat guests, take food and beverage orders, and ensure that customers feel welcomed and valued throughout their dining experience. Your ability to connect with patrons and anticipate their needs is essential.

• Serving Food and Beverages: You will be responsible for delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately. Attention to detail is vital in ensuring that orders are prepared as requested, maintaining our high standards of service.

• Effective Communication: Clear and effective communication with both customers and kitchen staff is key to ensuring smooth operations. You will relay customer orders accurately and keep guests informed about their order status.

• Assisting in Bar Preparation: While your primary focus will be on waitressing duties, you will also assist in bar preparation tasks. This may involve setting up the bar area, preparing ingredients, and ensuring that the bar is well-stocked and organized.

• Maintaining Standards: You will uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining area and ensure that the restaurant is well-presented at all times. This includes regular table maintenance, clearing dishes, and ensuring that the environment is inviting for guests.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Customer Service and Communication Skills: A passion for providing excellent service and the ability to communicate effectively with guests are essential.

• Experience in Food & Beverage and Food Service: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with restaurant operations will help you thrive in this role.

• Bar Preparation Skills: While direct bar experience is a plus, a willingness to learn and assist in bar tasks is essential. You should be comfortable working with bar equipment and preparing basic drinks.

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills will help you build rapport with customers and work effectively within a team.

• Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: The restaurant industry can be busy and challenging. You should be able to maintain composure and efficiency during peak hours.

• Food Safety Certification: While not mandatory, certification in food safety practices is beneficial and demonstrates your commitment to maintaining high standards.
