Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the end-of-month closing support, collaborating with team members to ensure that financial records are accurate and complete. You will assist in executing end-of-month closing procedures, which involves meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of accounting practices. Your contributions will also extend to ensuring compliance with government reporting requirements, including the preparation of statutory financial statements, tax filings, and sales tax submissions.

Another key aspect of your responsibilities will be providing support during corporate audits. You will help gather necessary documentation and data, ensuring that all financial reporting obligations are met comprehensively. This role will also require you to assist with internal reports and reconciliations, helping to maintain transparency and accuracy in the company’s financial activities.

Moreover, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting and finance-related policies and procedures. Desired candidate profile

To be considered for this position, you should be a part-qualified Accountant with a minimum of two years of bookkeeping experience. Previous experience in tech companies will be an advantage, as it reflects familiarity with the specific financial challenges and practices within the industry. Strong fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with team members and stakeholders.

Proficiency in ERP systems is also required. Experience with platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Priority, or similar systems will enhance your ability to navigate our financial processes efficiently.
