Seeking a Senior .NET Web API Developer to become a member of a newly formed project team.
Financial services client has a legacy application that manages and maintains employee records. The legacy application technology platform has outlived its useful lifespan and needs a rewrite. A client seeks a partner to rewrite this application using modern technologies and incumbent frameworks supported within the client ecosystem. Namely the application should include a React JS front end which is written within a micro frontend framework and a .NET backend using a Choreo API gateway backend which interacts with existing stored procedures views and tables within the Oracle database.

Job Duties

Take full ownership and responsibility of the web API development tasks Adhere to client coding standards architectural patterns and practices Design & develop web API architecture using Choreo framework. Analyze Choreo and understand how to best implement the gateway to meet the application needs. Evaluate and analyze the legacy system to fully understand features functionality data structures and business rules. Design & develop Choreo Web API within a .NET project Collaborate with front end developer to design required endpoints and data contracts Design & develop unit tests within the Choreo web API framework to achieve required unit test coverage Work closely with product owner to fully understand prioritize and implement required features and functionality Understanding and experience with all Agile ceremonies artifacts and processes within the development lifecycle Communicate with technical and nontechnical audiences providing timely and succinct status updates and communicating with teammates and leadership personnel
