We have partnered with a USbased Product Company looking to expand their Backend Team. They develop management products that help numerous companies worldwide enhance their efficiency and streamline their operations.
They are currently seeking a candidate based in Colombia Mexico Brazil or Ecuador.
Our Proposal:
As an experienced BackendEngineer you will actively participate in the enhancement and evolution of our Kotlin and Java backend applications and systems that power our extensive portfolio of IT Software products.
You will be an integral part of a collaborative team where Product Engineering and Quality Assurance work harmoniously to shape our entire product suite within an agile framework. Your role extends beyond code maintenance; it involves innovating new features enhancing codebase quality and exploring emerging technologies .
Responsibilities:
Java and Kotlin Software Development: Utilize your expertise to contribute to the development of largescale software applications. Ensure that quality remains a core aspect of your work and assist your fellow engineers in upholding our qualityfirst standards.
Committing Code and Shipping Products: As one of our most trusted engineers youll be responsible for committing code and implementing design patterns while tackling enterpriselevel software challenges in a dynamic startup environment. Make a significant impact by building scalable software that operates on millions of endpoints.
Musthave Requirements:
Bachelors degree: In Computer Science Computer Engineering Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
10 years experience in Java software development: For product applications or equivalent. Solid expertise in Kotlin will make you a standout candidate.
4 years experience with highly scalable software systems: Proven ability to work on systems at scale and find solutions for scaling.
Working knowledge of OOP design principles: Comprehensive understanding of objectoriented programming design principles.
Expertise in scaling data structures and objectoriented design: Advanced skills in designing scalable data structures and applying OOP principles.
Knowledge of API best practices and REST service development: Experience using frameworks like Jersey or Spring.
Relational Database design and development: Experience in designing and developing relational databases.
Experience in both client and serverside development: Creating responsive messaging systems.
Nice to Have:
Caching systems expertise: Experience with caching systems particularly with Redis will make you a standout.
Expert knowledge of quality testing practices: Advanced understanding of quality testing methodologies and practices.
