Job Description
In collaboration we areworking with a leading B2B solution provider who is looking to recruit a IT Manager to join their team in Belgrade.
Location: Belgrade Serbia
Employment type: Fulltime
Work model: onsite
Benefits: base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee firewalls routers switches servers and storage systems
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices (VLANs BGP OSPF NAT VPN)
- Ensure secure firewall configurations access control and manage DHCP DNS and load balancing
- Monitor and optimize network performance for routing switching and wireless systems
- Address network bottlenecks and ensure reliable scalable network operations
- Maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows & Linux) to ensure smooth operations
- Focus on Linux (Ubuntu) handling updates package management and kernel optimization
- Manage backups disaster recovery and failover procedures to protect infrastructure
- Implement and enforce security protocols for firewalls VPNs and intrusion detection systems
- Regularly assess risks and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Lead a team of IT professionals and ensure 24/7 system availability
- Manage oncall rotations incident responses and foster a culture of proactive maintenance
- Plan and execute IT infrastructure projects like system upgrades and migrations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams managing budgets timelines and resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years in IT infrastructure management or a related role
- Fluent in English both verbal an written
- Bachelors degree in IT Computer Science or a similar field
- Expertise in network hardware (firewalls routers switches) advanced networking protocols (BGP OSPF NAT VLANs) network security and Linux systems (preferably Ubuntu)
- Proven ability to manage 24x7 IT environments with excellent leadership communication and project management skills
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) an advantage
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) an advantage
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator an advantage
- ITIL Foundation an advantage
