Job Description
My client is a leading manufacturer of highquality functional textiles for demanding applications operating internationally and continuously growing. To strengthen the production site in Serbia an experienced Operations Manager (m/f/d) is sought who will take responsibility for the efficient management of the manufacturing operations and contribute significantly to further expansion.
Tasks
- Onsite Operations Management: You will oversee the entire production operation ensuring compliance with quality standards efficiency and delivery timelines.
- Staff Recruitment: You will develop and implement strategies for attracting new employees to support the planned growth of the operation.
- Productivity Enhancement: Through process optimizations and targeted resource deployment you will increase the efficiency and profitability of the operation.
- Automation: You will drive the introduction and optimization of automation technologies to accelerate the manufacturing process and reduce costs.
- Lean Transformation: You will implement lean management principles to make processes faster more efficient and more ergonomic.
- Profit and Loss Responsibility: You will be responsible for the economic performance of the plant monitor the profit and loss situation and ensure that all financial targets are met.
Requirements
- Several years of leadership experience in a production facility preferably in textile manufacturing or a comparable industry.
- Solid knowledge of lean management process optimization and automation.
- Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to enhance operational performance through clear goals and measures.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Experience in recruiting and developing employees.
- Language skills: Negotiationlevel proficiency in Serbian and good knowledge of English and/or German.
