Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) project management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution from design and drafting to installation and commissioning ensuring adherence to specifications timelines and safety standards. This role requires exceptional leadership skills effective communication abilities and a proactive approach to problemsolving.

Job Description

Design and draft MEP systems including HVAC firefighting fire alarm and plumbing ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Attend site meetings and review sessions with customers and consultants documenting discussions and ensuring timely implementation of decisions.

Provide endtoend supervision of project sites conducting regular design and project reviews to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.

Oversee installation activities according to detailed drawings and specifications coordinating with subcontractors to minimize deviations and rework.

Prepare specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for procurement ensuring alignment with project needs and budgetary constraints.

Maintain high standards of work quality and safety throughout project execution implementing necessary precautions and protocols.

Ensure timely billing and collections to maintain adequate cash flow for project operations.

Efficiently deploy and utilize manpower resources to optimize project performance and productivity.

Evaluate quotations and proposals to select vendors and subcontractors that best meet project requirements and budgetary constraints.

Maintain and organize project files and documents conducting quantity surveys and providing details for bill preparation.

Handle various types of projects including metro depots and stations commercial and residential buildings hospitals restaurants industrial facilities and shopping malls. 2 Confidential

Independently perform heat load calculations prepare working drawings for HVAC fire detection and suppression systems and design internal and external fire hydrant systems.

Conduct testing commissioning and handover of systems ensuring proper documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

Diploma or B. Tech/B.E. in any specialization preferably with a focus on Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering.

Minimum 23 years of experience in MEP project management particularly in the firefighting and suppression industry.

Proficiency in MEP designing drafting engineering and BOQ preparation.

Strong understanding of construction and site engineering principles and practices.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients consultants subcontractors and site staff.

Proven ability to lead manage and motivate teams to achieve project objectives within established timelines.

Total Experience: Candidates should possess a minimum of 23 years of relevant engineering service industry experience. Applications from candidates exceeding this experience range will not be considered.

Job Type and Location: This is a fulltime offsite position requiring candidates to work on site the role entails travel to various locations across India as per project requirements
