Job Brief:
Our end client is seeking a motivated and skilled Engineer to join their Manufacturing team. In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting precision plug valves utilized in both commercial and military aviation and midstream fuel transportation. The end client supports aviation and Oil and Gas with new reconditioned or repair sales and services.
Responsibilities:
- Review create or modify drawings to ensure compliance with client specifications or applicable standards.
- Develop organize and update manufacturing processes including bill of materials work center routing and work notes.
- Engineering Change Orders and processes involved until completion.
- Examine and approve engineering drawings design computations etc. to ensure compliance with the manufacturing processes and QA/QC standards.
- Document and revision control of all product drawings.
- Work with other members of the engineering staff to ensure that production requirements are completed in a timely manner.
- Address customer questions aiming to uphold customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
- Communicate and contribute to a team effort to improve manufacturing processes.
- Discuss plans specifications and work schedules with engineering staff and resolve problems associated with projects.
- Surveys and prepares sketches and/or work drawings for the construction and modification of tooling and fixtures.
- Create models within SolidWorks.
- Create or modify DANEX Bill of Materials (BOM) using ERP software to maintain organization and the ability to recreate future orders.
- Review and approve actuation/motors for adaption on both DANEX products and aftermarket products.
- Evaluate product performance and design improvement.
- Understand and follows all safety procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering Engineering Technology or equivalent work experience with 5 years in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Proficient with SolidWorks AutoCad or similar drafting programs (SolidWorks preferred).
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports and correspondence related to the work.
- Ability to use computers and available software to maintain records and prepare technical reports.
- Communicate effectively using electronic media in written and verbal forms. Make telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and make formal presentations to small or large groups.
- Ability to work independently selfmotivated with minimal supervision. Acute attention to detail. Ability to lead and work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of materials of construction and their application.
- Familiarity with ASME Section VIII Division 1 and 2 ASME B16.34 and ASME B16.5.
- The ability to think critically innovate and solve problems.
- Effective time management and logical decisionmaking ability.
- ERP experienced applicants preferred.

Pay rate:
The base salary range for this role is $80000 $129000. The base salary range is dependent on factors including but not limited to experience skills qualifications relevant education and certifications. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
