Job Summary
This is a PROCESS consultant not a technical role. Candidates must have strong functional experience in ServiceNow HAM and SAM. Certifications are highly desired. Some technical knowledge but not a hands on technical resource.

Job Description
We are seeking a ServiceNow Asset Management Consultant to function as an Asset Management Process Manager specializing in ServiceNow HAM and SAM. This position will be a fulltime and remote contract opportunity. Due to our client Candidates must be based in the US.
What Youll Do
- Plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) user team(s) the ServiceNow technical development/implementation (ITSM) team and other stakeholders
- Responsible for managing the daytoday Asset Management processes working directly with the process owner to oversee the entire asset lifecycle
- Provides practical training and stepbystep howto instruction aimed at enhancing knowledge and increasing adoption of standard hardware and software asset processes through the continued use of ServiceNow HAM/SAM Pro and related functions through the performance of items like: formal functional overviews user manual and documentation creation field/function/data interdependency identification and mapping UAT test guidance Platform Upgrade test guidance etc.
- Provides industry standard bestpractice recommendations governed by an outofthebox objective to assist our client in working towards and achieving its IT Asset Management (ITAM) maturity goals
- Ability to architect develop and convert customers legacy solutions into ServiceNow is a plus
- Apply Agile software development practices for customizations to the platform and applications
- Identifies and proposes solutions to address systems resource and/or skills gaps required to maintain current and future ITAM states
- Assists in incident analysis enhancement requirements analysis/demand creation test case creation and execution and basic report creation
What Youll Need
Required:
- 4 years of experience
- 2 years of ServiceNow
- Hardware Asset Management (HAM) experience
- Software Asset Management (SAM) experience
- ServiceNow HAM and SAM experience
- ITAM experience
- Must have great communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work remotely and independently
Preferred:
- Current ServiceNow certifications (CSA etc.)
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor
