Remote Parttime Contract Work Flexible Schedule

Activities will include but not be limited to development of litigation strategy drafting pleadings and management of outside counsel resources.

• Conflict resolution with vendors and customers
  

• Miscellaneous duties such as resolving small claims filed by students against the company including arbitration and litigation
  

• Independently negotiate draft and/or revise all manner of corporate and commercial agreements (e.g. vendor system or customer) and other legal documents.
  

• Help manage the relation with and supervise the work done by outside counsel where required and make strategic decisions regarding the conduct of legal proceedings (e.g. litigation regulatory or alternative dispute resolution).
  

• 5 years of legal experience in a corporate environment or proven comparable law firm experience.
  

• Proven background in commercial transactions contract law and corporate law
  

• Solutionsoriented strategic thinker with sound judgment and the ability to provide practical advice by balancing business needs with legal risks
  

• Current license to practice law.
  

• This role requires advanced critical thinking and analytical skills including the ability to interpret laws regulations and case law to identify and mitigate legal risk while helping to achieve business objectives.
  

• This role requires advanced communication skills (oral and writing) with management and frontline employees as well as customers consumers and representatives of other businesses.
