Job Summary:
Caretaking Service plays a significant role in Housing Management s ambitions for creating and maintaining a safe community/estate to support the health and wellbeing of residents.
The role supports this by providing a visible presence and trusted service in the delivery of a flexible responsive high quality caretaking service on our housing estates and the small number of street properties who receive this provision.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
Ensuring a high standard of cleanliness to internal elements of residential buildings in addition to the external areas within the parameters of an estate.
This service is further complimented by the resident staff who in addition to their role provide an out of hour s emergency service at night and at weekends.
Additional information to note:
36 hours per week
8am 4pm working hours

To develop and maintain professional, supportive working relationships with key staff in schools and other services in the locality. To ensure all written correspondence and documents are accurate and well structured, reflecting local and national requirements, including SEN legislation, and is sensitive to the perspective of the recipient. To ensure electronic case files are well maintained to agreed quality standards and confidentiality in line with Data Protection Act. To accurately record, input and maintain records on a database as required
