Your Role as Chief Engineer
In this pivotal role youll be the technical mastermind behind the scenes leading the design engineering team through both new product development and product updates. You will own the technical responsibility for the products ensuring excellence in every aspectmechanical performance costeffectiveness appearance and compliance. With our stateoftheart prototype workshop and worldclass test center youll have everything you need to create test and refine breakthrough solutions.
But it doesnt stop there. Youll also be planning and collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams across industrial design testing production purchasing and more. Your expertise will be key to our continued success.
What You Bring
To thrive in this fastpaced teamoriented environment were looking for someone with a proactive entrepreneurial spirit. Youre not just a problem solveryoure a visionary who takes ownership and drives projects forward. Your background includes:
- An academic degree in engineering and at least five years of experience in design engineering or product development for massproduced products.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide your team to success in daily tasks.
- Solid 3DCAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PDMsystem competence along with a handson approach that takes full advantage of our cuttingedge workshop.
- Fluency in English as it is the language of our daily communication and at least elementary knowledge in the Swedish language.
