Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN). We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Assignment Start Date: 10/17/2024

13 weeks Days 12hour shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly

Extremely low Nursetopatient ratios at our rural facility. Very supportive nurse management team. Duties include medication passes for 9 Residents and skin checks. Lots of time to focus on 1:1 activities and outdoor garden time with Residents.

Assesses plans and implements the nursing care of residents within the patient care unit settings with the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by NACs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching as determined in the scope of the license. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the districts mission.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• Previous hospital work experience preferred.

Education:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.

Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of Washington.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required
• Active ACLS and PALS certification or agreeable to take the districtled classes within six months of hire.
• Current certification in IV therapy or agreeable to participate in the district IV competency training program with the Nurse Manager within 6 months of hire.

EMR System: Meditech experience preferred
