Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager Steel Rebar & Binding Wire Manufacturing

Location: Oman

Company Overview:
We are a leading steel manufacturing company expanding our operations with a new facility in Oman. Our focus is on producing highquality steel rebar and binding wire to meet the growing demands of the construction industry in Oman and the GCC region. We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts and establish a strong market presence for our products.

Job Description:
As the Sales Manager for our steel rebar and binding wire manufacturing plant you will be responsible for driving sales building a customer base and achieving revenue targets in the Omani construction market. We are seeking a proactive individual with a solid understanding of the steel and construction materials industry specifically in Oman. The role requires a strategic approach to market development and a proven ability to establish lasting business relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to introduce and promote our steel rebar and binding wire products in the Omani market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients including contractors distributors construction companies and government agencies within Oman.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue for both steel rebar and binding wire products.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs industry trends and the competitive landscape in Oman and the GCC region.
  • Collaborate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient order fulfillment meeting customer requirements.
  • Set sales targets prepare forecasts and monitor progress to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead negotiations prepare contracts and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining market competitiveness.
  • Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to promote products and enhance brand awareness.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance market conditions and potential growth areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Engineering or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the steel construction materials or manufacturing industry with a focus on rebar and binding wire products.
  • Strong knowledge of the Omani construction market with an established network of industry contacts.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the steel industry.
  • Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Selfmotivated resultoriented and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Oman and the GCC region as required.
