DS Technologies Inc is looking for Marklogic DBA role for one of our premier clients.

Overview:
The Marklogic DBA will be responsible for managing and administering MarkLogic databases ensuring high performance and supporting various database tasks such as backups data migrations and reindexing. The position requires expertise in database tuning process analysis and system maintenance in a dynamic multitasking environment.

Marklogic DBA

Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer MarkLogic databases including cluster administration replication and failover
• Perform database tuning monitoring alerting and dashboarding
• Analyze queries perform buffer tuning and ensure database consistency
• Handle physical/logical backups restores and data refreshes
• Support environment builds data migrations and system maintenance windows
• Perform reindexing rebalancing and merge activities in MarkLogic
• Ensure database security and compliance
• Support offhours work for application releases and maintenance

Requirements / Qualifications:

• 8 years of combined experience in Database Administration/Engineering
• Strong skills in performance tuning monitoring and process/query analysis
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell commands Windows PowerShell or Python
• Knowledge of database security and compliance
• 3 years of handson experience with MarkLogic cluster administration reindexing replication and failover
• Preferred: Automation experience with Ansible Terraform and CI/CD experience with GitHub Jenkins
