DS Technologies Inc is looking for Cardiovascular Technologist role for one of our premier clients.

Overview:
The Cardiovascular/Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for performing advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the direction of the Department Manager Medical Director of the Cath Lab and other medical staff. The role involves providing ageappropriate care and participating in quality assurance and improvement activities while serving as a customer service representative to patients and medical staff.

Cardiovascular Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures
• Collaborate with the Medical Director cardiologists radiologists and other staff
• Provide customer service to patients and their families
• Participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities
• Provide care for adolescent adult and geriatric patients

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Graduate of ARRT School or equivalent education/experience
• California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
• National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
• Preferred: Additional training in angiocardiography and 2 years of experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital
