Work Experience Mandatory:
- 24 years of administrative work. Microsoft products and programs experience (MS Office). Prior experience in an executive assistant capacity.
Work Experience Nice To Have:
- Working experence with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency(DCSA) Or Federal.
Roles And Responsibilities:
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall perform all the same duties as the Journeyman Administrative Assistant but to a mastery level to support the Senior Leader and oversee and manage the daily operations of the Front Office effectively and efficiently. The Journeyman tasks are not repeated in this section but it is understood they will be a part of the Executive/Senior Administration Assistant duties.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall support the planning and executing conference(s) or event(s) including but not limited to:
- Ceremonies (Retirements Promotions Awards etc.)
- Office Training
- Orientations
- Offsite meetings
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall provide advice and recommendations to the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff DCSA on all matters relative to the coordination integration and synchronization of staff actions events and activities personally affecting and involving the DCSA Immediate Office.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall assist the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff in the execution of all matters pertaining to strategic visits and communication.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall relieve the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff of detailed planning relating to a wide variety of complex communications issues and messaging initiatives.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall develop coordinate manage lead and deliver multiple critical daily and weekly strategic activities and communications on behalf of the Director.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall attend highlevel internal and external meetings and briefings with or for the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff and takes notes documents actions follows up as required and monitors action through to completion.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall independently create and brief messages/presentations to DCSA senior leadership as well as to the total DCSA workforce (i.e. town halls).
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall develop plans and objectives for assigned projects. Initiate and conduct studies and analyses on projects issues and problem cases. As requested take and/or coordinate with senior officials at headquarters and/or operational levels to assure that actions are in keeping with the Directors philosophy and priorities.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall identify areas needing emphasis and exercise executive guidance to ensure programs and initiatives accurately meet expectations.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall review work products from DCSA organizational elements that respond to front office suspense dates ensuring they contain complete information that is responsive to the incoming tasking. Incorporates interrelated products and responses from various DCSA organizations into overall response for the Directors approval. Ensures these DCSA work products incorporate the Directors instructions and that they are aligned with DCSA priorities.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall attend DCSA and OSD meetings with the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff. Additionally the Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall follow up within DCSA and with Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD(I)) and Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security (DUSD(I&S)) staff officers on action items resulting from those meetings to ensure common understanding of substantive requirements and suspense dates. Respond to substantive inquiries from USD(I) and DUSD(I&S) staffers regarding DCSA Transformation Plan DCSA Strategic Plan complex program issues Congressional inquiries and other important or urgent issues that would otherwise be addressed to the DCSA Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall manage numerous high priority special projects for the Director Deputy Director and Chief of Staff. These highly complex projects are of critical importance to DCSA and the leadership of the DoD. These projects require substantial and detailed research and offer the opportunity to make recommendations.
- The Executive/Senior Administrative Assistant shall possess excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills and provide wellwritten articulate responses to compliance issues.

- Onboarding/Offboarding of civilian employees which shall be completed in accordance with current DCSA policy and procedures.
